Beeswax wraps allow to cover all kinds of recipients and food  (fruits, vegetables, cakes, cheese, etc.), and to carry out picnics. Without waste, as they can be reused after being washed with water !

How does it work?

Warm the beeswax wrap with your hands, it will adhere on it-self of the recipient you want to cover. When cold, it keeps its shape.

Some use cases

What’s in my beeswax wraps?

I handcraft them in Nice, in the French Riviera, with:  :

  • local beeswax of Provence,
  • eco-friendly cotton certifid with the OEKO-Tex 100 label,
  • organic pine resin from  Landes (french Atlantic coast),
  • jojoba oil.

That’s all!

Every component is crucial for the food conservation and physical properties of the wrap:

  • the beeswax sticks and has anti-bacterian properties. It is waterproof so keeps the moisture of the food and keep them safe in a closed environment.
  • the pine resin is  antibacterian and  antifungal.
  • jojoba est antibacterian,  antifungal and insecticide.
  • cotton allows the air to pass throught to better preserve the food.

Media talk about it!

Pliage de bee wraps à l'atelier

Elle, Cosmopolitan, TV5, France Bleu Azur, Radio Monaco, 20 Minutes, Riviera insider magazine talk about it

Oui: nettoyer les beeswraps à l'eau froide avec une éponge; pliez-les soigneusement. Non : pas de grattoir, ne pas chiffonner
Dos and don’ts!

Take care of it!

If you take care of them, you will keep them one year and more 😉

You can wash your  beeswax wraps with fresh water and liquid soap.

  • do not scratch to avoid to remove the beeswax
  • pliez-les soigneusement pour les ranger
  • and the most important to remember : do not expose them to heat sources (hot water, micro-wave owen, dish washere, hot recipient, etc.): beeswax melts at  65 °C !
